COVID-19 Precautions and Preparations

Best Western Hotels have always been synonymous with exemplary standards of service, housekeeping and health & safety. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we have enhanced our exacting standards to a new level across all aspects of our hotel operations.

The changes we have implemented are based on the guidance we have received from HM Government, Public Health England and the National Health Service, supported by industry specific advice from UK Hospitality.

We can confirm that we have complied with the government’s ‘COVID-19 Secure’ guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 in the workplace.
Due to the constantly changing nature of this guidance and advice, our internal operating practices and protocols will be continuously reviewed and immediately updated, so therefore the information detailed may change without notice.

To comply with current recommendations, certain services or room amenities may not be available during your stay.  This will include the removal of some soft furnishings and printed materials from bedrooms as well as the replacement of cups/saucers and cutlery with disposable options.  Our daily housekeeping service has also been suspended.  If you wish your room to be made up, please leave the "Make Up My Room" notice on your door by 10:00am.  Luggage storage will also not be available.
Initially, only breakfast will be offered and we may have to implement time slots during busy periods.  No other food service will be available but we are happy to supply crockery and cutlery if you wish to order in a take-away.  Bar service will be unaffected and you are welcome to use our lounge or take your drink to your room if you prefer.  Charges must be settled to your room account or with a credit/debit card.
We have enabled contact free check-in, bill payment and check-out procedures to ensure our mutual safety.

As we are managing a Public Health issue, we expect the full support and co-operation of all of our stakeholders - our guests, our team and our business partners. Only through our collective efforts can we successfully combat the spread of COVID-19 and keep each other safe and healthy.

Please note, from 8th August 2020, it is a legal requirement to wear a face covering in our public areas.  This does not apply while using the breakfast room or drinking in our bar.
